The kids have been tag-teaming the cooties!

Momma cat was upset the first few days, but she apparently was no longer able to feed the babies. We had hungry kittens! The kittens moved in and forgot all about outside and momma as soon as their tummies were full. As I was keeping the windows and doors (screened) open, momma could peek in and call, but the kittens didn't listen much. I talked to the momma cat to calm her down - and she would quiet down and listen. She's go away awhile. Come back. Ask more questions, etc. I think she wasn't too worried. She still hangs out in the garden, but is no longer interested in the kittens.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667481504650498976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-87756400585927553302009-11-03T05:46:54.032+02:002009-11-03T05:46:54.032+02:00Catching up on your blog. So wonderful that you were able to rescue them.

Did the mother cat ever come back for them? If so, I wonder what she thought.

By now, Honor is well and back at school. Hopefully no one else caught it.Tina in CThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01389744278715174313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-88456935792465287402009-10-27T15:15:14.952+02:002009-10-27T15:15:14.952+02:00Makes me miss my dog (who is living happily with m...Makes me miss my dog (who is living happily with my sister and her dog in Georgia)!Mama Seoulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16013830400454840736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-69042162830035185162009-10-25T07:47:23.312+02:002009-10-25T07:47:23.312+02:00Tanya, I hope Mac gets well and fast! Brian went through his bought of it in about 3 days, so it can be beat!
Yes, that is the trouble with pets and travel... this post might be ok, but what about the next? Housing, travel restrictions, etc. Pets are a lifetime commitment!
I actually like Cinnamon Sugar too, but don't know what to call her short for 'Cinnamon' - Cinny? nah... And Brad doesn't like 'Sugar', so if we choose this, she'll be going by multiple nicknames... she could handle it though, she's a smart one. :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667481504650498976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-51432324467755571722009-10-25T04:18:02.612+02:002009-10-25T04:18:02.612+02:00Im with Typ0 I miss having a cat but like you said...Im with Typ0 I miss having a cat but like you said it is hard to travel with animals and NZ has some of the toughest laws when it comes to bringing them home especially the ones that weren't born there. It does kind of make the decision easier when they adopt you though ;) Im glad Honor is getting better (albeit slowly) Mac has just slid into what sounds like much the same lurgy...hopefully he's better by thursday as we are off to Shanghai for a few days!
PS I like 'Cinnamon sugar' as a name- 'sugar' for short.Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13388362742170805414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-15187290978095931652009-10-24T11:25:58.463+02:002009-10-24T11:25:58.463+02:00They are cute! The pale cat would prefer to be allowed to always nap on a lap! All run up to greet us when we've been out of their (confined) area for awhile.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667481504650498976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1304534455173718249.post-28141180693482836312009-10-23T23:21:41.608+02:002009-10-23T23:21:41.608+02:00This post totally made me want a cat!!
