Before we hit Christmas, I guess I should post some photos from our Thanksgiving. Brad’s folks came out to visit us and we had a very lovely time.
It was COLD when they got here, so we had a lot of indoor visiting. Susan took the opportunity to teach the grand-kitties about knitting. I believe that their experience with crochet helped them to be attentive students.
And while most days were quite frigid, we did manage some outdoor fun as well. Here are some photos from a walk we took together.
Brian and his dad. (Honor is here too, but hiding behind Brian!)
Checking out the creek, looking for turtles or other critters.
My favorite critters.
All the leaves are gone now.
As is the corn.
Walks can often turn into Runs. (that’s one way to stay warm!)
Brad and his dad checking out the fields.
More running…. Honor is fast, but it’s hard to keep up with her brother’s long legs. Our little lane is a little over a mile long and dead ends at a cul-de-sac. It makes for a great walk. (or run)
A bright winter day.
I guess the guys got tired of waiting for us!
Granted, we were dawdling a bit and taking more photos.
It was starting to get chilly by the time we got back to the house. Now that the leaves have fallen, it’s possible to actually see it from the street!
And then it snowed. I’ll post some photos of that too.
