We hope that everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We spent the day lazing about the house, cooking, and just enjoying the time together. Turkey dinner was a great way to wrap up the day - something that made the cats, and even the fish, thankful too. Love ya!

Nice to just relax on the holiday after all the meal prep. Did you get together with friends yesterday? Is it hard to find a turkey in Egypt?

We live here because we work here, and we are blessed to have access to the commissary, so getting a turkey was easy. There is a lot available on local market too - I didn't look for turkeys though. Neighbors in our apartment building organized a huge joint Thanksgiving dinner, but we wanted a small dinner at home, and after the drama of Brian getting sick the past week, it was GOOD to stay home and just be together.
That turkey looks perfectly cooked! Glad to know you enjoyed!
